Common Issues

Connection and Authorization

  • Cannot connect to Zoom: Ensure you are logged into your Zoom account and have the necessary permissions to authorize third-party applications. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the Application from your Zoom App Marketplace settings.
  • Authorization expired: Zoom OAuth tokens may expire periodically. Re-authorize the Application through the Zoom App Marketplace to restore the connection.
  • Insufficient permissions: Some features require specific Zoom scopes (e.g., cloud recording access). Verify the Application has been granted all requested permissions during authorization.

Recordings and Transcriptions

  • Recordings not appearing: The Application processes cloud recordings only. Ensure cloud recording is enabled in your Zoom settings. Local recordings stored on your device are not accessible through the Zoom API.
  • Transcription errors: Automated transcription uses AI speech recognition, which may produce inaccuracies, especially with technical jargon, accents, or poor audio quality. Transcriptions should be reviewed and edited as needed.
  • Missing meetings: The Application can only access recordings from meetings that occurred after authorization. Historical recordings prior to connecting may not be available depending on your plan.

Account and Billing

  • Manage your subscription: Contact support@kiingo.com for billing inquiries, plan changes, or cancellation requests.
  • Disconnect the Application: You can disconnect Kiingo AI for Zoom at any time from the Zoom App Marketplace or your Zoom account settings under Installed Apps.
